Nigel Stock MA DipArch RIBA

qualified in 1982 from the University of Sheffield. He gained an MA for his dissertation on the relationship between large scale entertainment planning and urban design and was awarded a Carpenters Company Scholarship that allows young Architects to work, teach and travel in the USA.

After 10 years wide ranging experience in the UK he established his own practice in London in 1992.

In 2002 he relocated to the South West. Kerrison Stock has an consistent track record of gaining planning permission for contemporary buildings in sensitive locations such as Conservation Areas and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has completed projects throughout the UK.

He has worked in the workplace, education, health and residential sectors and at all scales of project. Masterplanning and Urban Design experience includes work on Stockley Park, Heathrow, Atterbury Lakes in Milton Keynes, Cambourne in Cambridgeshire and Hohenschonhausen in Berlin and he is a Director of Place Design Consultants who specialise in design for large scale land use.

Nigel has been a visiting tutor at the Royal College of Art, University of Plymouth, University College Falmouth and Temple University in Philadelphia.
